I've been seeing this for as long as i can remember, and only today I started questioning it, I don't know why now, maybe I thought everyone gets this? I have no idea.

Right, if your wondering what that random rant was all about, its this problem or something I have. Everything I see is like static, though easier to see in dark areas, Its visible whenever. I even found a few simulations to show what I mean.

(The next one is not actually this intense for me)

This is a HUGE thread, but heres some extra things you might not have known bout this in this picture

But if anyone could help do something about it or explain stuff, I'd appreciate it.

It's white blood cells going past through your eyes, which is why in darker areas it'll stand out more to you.

It can't be that many white blood cells going past, and its static, it doesnt move in a predictable way

You may possibly have the symptoms of a mild visual snow disorder. If you want to know more about it, you should read more about it in Wikipedia.

Causes for this could possibly be tinnitus, fatigue, cognitive dysfunction and other stuff that I'd prefer not to mention. I'm not saying you have these, nor want to make you worry but it definitely is a possibility.

That may also be a physical cause in relation to the nervous-immune system, such as inflammation or lack of cells in your optical nerves like @Unprepossessing said.

I think you underestimate how many blood cells you have in your body.
And of course it doesn't, cells don't march in singular stright lines.

I get the same as you when I'm tired or concentrating too hard on the static thing.
I seriously don't think you have anything to worry about :^)

If it is white blood cells really, it would have to be like a city for them in my eye...

You have 100,000s and 100,000s of cells in your body. Don't be too surprised.
I'll try and find the source to what I'm claiming tho
