If you could write to your future self, what would you say to them?

By future self, I mean "You ten years from now."

The reason I ask is because of a national contest across Canadian highschools. If I write such a letter (in French) and it's absolutely amazing, I could win like 10k to put towards my education. By asking around I can get a bit of inspiration, because this does have to be the best thing I've ever written to win.

If you want to joke around go ahead, but I'd like some serious answers too. :)

 

What you give is what you get. And I know that I will always try my best and get the best I can. (I suck at stuff like this because I am a noob)

 

Your life alone is within the galaxy, your life with someone else, brings you back to the normal planet. If someone hates Septiplier, nobody can't survive from me, If someone is shipping Septiplier, their life will be staying in the galaxy.

 

I'd honestly say to my future self that. You've made it to the most challenging part of life. However you've been through a lot of tough times 10 years before. The only thing that has changed is your age. Your personality and goals have not changed. You have done such a great job to get through 10 years of ups and downs and it has created this person you are today. I'm proud of you and a lot of people are proud of you. Continue with doing what you are doing because there is no point of backing down. Goals are meant to be achieved and you have given yourself the best chance to do that. If you fail, you can at least say that you gave it your all. You tried your best and that means a lot more than you would think. It is not a waste of time, it's an investment into something new and possibly bigger. The most important thing to remember is that if you have the right mindset, you can do anything. When you come to a road, you have to make a choice but you will never have to walk that road alone. Why? Because you'll always have someone, whether it's a person or your conscience, they will guide you. You can't always depend on those people to guide you either though. They wont always be there, but you are mature enough to make your own decisions. You were raised well and spent a lot of time with great people and are still spending great time with some of those people today. You do what's right for you and you'll get far in life.

 

I'd say "You already got this far, why give up now? Achieve your goals. Don't forget that people love you and you're worth more then you think. You can do this!"

 

Be nicer to your friends. Even it's a joke you don't know if what you say to them effects them in the long run.

Never forget who you are and who you want to be. Don't try to conform to be able to fit in.

 

Don't listen to them. Don't fall for pretty promises. At the end of theday, you are your best friend.

Stop putting yourself down. You are worth it, you are beautiful, you are special. There will always be people there for you. People who will help you through your journey, let it be your parents or your closest friends. Don't be afraid to start conversations with them. Stop caring about what they think about you, it'll just make you feel worse. Be yourself at all times and try your best to succeed. I know you can do it.

 

Good going man, You've made it this far in Life and your only going to get Further. Keep pursuing your dreams and make your family proud, I believe in you.
