Is it just me or is it when the one that the floor is dissapearing under you, When i jump i lag and then fall into the lava.
It's mostly your internet speed (I have noticed that players with strong connection don't experience this). The amount of packets that you send to the server is in relation to the frequency that your character's position is updated. If you send little to no packets, your character appears to move forward, but then lags back because of your lesser packet frequency. Since it happens to most players, it's most likely a problem with the running speed, since the slower connection can't keep up with the movement speed of the character. I have noted that if you jump over a one block opening you should be fine. 2 or more blocks risks more of a chance of lag back. One of the fixes I can see for this is to reduce the movement speed of the players since the clients seem to have a hard time keeping an active sync with the server. Fun fact/Irrelevant: Lag back hacks force a player to stop sending packets to the server when they are about to fall off of a "cliff". Fairly easy to identify :)
Thanks for that! Yeah my laptop is probably worser than my internet i get only 50fps, Yeah i'll try the one block jump, Once again thank you for the full paragraph!
This isn't really a bug and just depends on how low your ping is. If you have a decent/good internet and your ping is really low, you're probably not going to experiene this at all. But most people including you and I, experience this because we don't have as low of a ping as others. I have 100mb/s download speed and 10mb/s upload speed, however I still get this latency lag. This can also be caused by framerate lag. If you have really low fps, then Minecraft will automatically frameskip and show present time instead of what had happend. Ping = Latency High ping equals lots of latency lag Low ping equals little bit of latency lag
