1300s: I'm dying from the Black Plague 1800s: I'm 9 and work in a factory 1900s: I'm off to fight in a war 2000s: IM OFFENDED (stolen from Twitter)
There's always been sensitive people but lately it has grown a lot, so what @StarlightFox said is correct.
To be completely honest, I only see these super sensitive people on the internet. It might be the difference between cultures, or just people only being able to openly voice their opinions and feelings on a non face to face platform... Either way, I think the intranet had impact on the way people this age behave.
The word "Hello" already triggers people enough for them to get out of their cars and harass others, so I'm not surprised.
Probably happens a lot more in the US (Trigglypuff, AIDS Skrillex, etc). I've never seen someone "triggered" in Europe.
The USA is so triggered Me: the sky is blue Them: think of the colorblind you insensitive monster O_o
Thank you, if you were to make a thread about this last year half the community would have legitimately gotten offended. This world is kinda sad lol, all pf the wrong people aren't afraid to express their opinions and the people who are right would get mauled by tumblrinas if they said what they'd think
