I have no idea how to start this.
Essentially, I want to talk about intersecuality. I know that anyone who talks to me on skype or has seen my pictures, probably thinks that I'm female. Jokes on you guys, I'm not.

But seriously, I was born with AIS. Which is androgen insensitivity syndrome. Meaning, I look female, sound female but don't have the female parts. I'm looking forward to seeing the comments of "that doesn't exist". Approximately, 1 in 2,500 live births are intersex cases.
I'd love to know if anyone else in the community is intersex. If so, pm me or something. You aren't alone here.
EDIT: Apparently, I wrote 25k instead of 2.5k. Yeah it ain't that rare. Complete AIS occurs in every 1 in 100,000 births. Intersex is a general term but what I have is partial AIS. So probably 1 in every 130,000 births. Intersex is more common than cystic fibrosis.

So, you're transgender? Or plan to be transgender?

Intersex doesn't mean transgender. If anything, we are the opposite. We aren't in the process of one to another. Intersex means being in the middle of the gender spectrum.
I've been masculine my whole life so I don't plan to change. While I do consider myself to be more genderqueer (meaning I don't subscribe to male or female), I won't ever have any body modifications. Most intersex people subscribe to genderqueer because it's easier than morphing into male or female.

If you're in the middle of the gender spectrum, doesn't that mean your non binary, or genderfluid?

I don't really understand.. is it that you identify as like between the two genders, or you are literally a girl that was born with male sexual organs? And that sounds and looks like a girl without being through surgery or anything transgender?

I'm sorry if this sounds kinda.. inappropriate to ask, but I don't really understand...

    No worries!

So intersex isn't something that you can identify with like genderfluid or transgender. It's something you are just born with. Like you are born with toes and fingers, I happen to be born with an intersex body.

I am not a girl born with male sex organs. I am an intersex person born with an inbetween body. The spoiler below will explain it but it kind of graphic.
So I was born with female genitals on the outside. But inside my body, where my ovaries and uterus should be, I have undescended male testicles. So essentially, a "hallow" vagina. For the first period in life, BEFORE puberty ended, I had a normal level of estrogen in my body. Once puberty ended, my estrogen levels went down and now I have very high levels of testosterone. So my body type is very feminine but I have no "breasts" because of the testosterone that increased after puberty.

I've lived with this my entire life, so I'm used to questions!
