braces :(

i got teal braces today ( @TadPATD thanks for the color you prike )

all the brackets are poking my mouth.
they dont tell you anything about the rocket science they give you

but it doesn't hurt especially if you take Advil right after the procedure.

i actually fell asleep while they were doing it, because it never hurt.

but now i have trouble eating every food and i dont know how to bite normally now

no poking, but it hurt to eat soup and eat bread.
wore off after my advil

some poking, i could eat anything without advil.
one problem with my teeth was that my two front teeth were pushed back. but they are already pushed forward, at least they look like it..

 

I am almost through the braces procedure and this happens in the first few days. I remember me taking about an hour to eat dinner properly, but eventually the pain while chewing will cease. It really sucks when they switch your current brace to another one and you are back at square one. You'll need to stick through the most difficult days, in a few days it will be bearable.

I've had braces before. I hated them. Your teeth feeling like they can't touch each other feeling only lasts about two weeks. Stick to soft foods during that time. For the poking, the office should've given you a wax or cream of some sort to rub on sore areas.

All in all, hang in there. I know how you feel, but it's for the best.

I've had my braces for a while, and whenever I get them tightened, and when I got them put on, I get extremely annoyed with the discomfort, and not eat for days. (4-5)

 

when you first get your braces on, it's very painful because of the pressure that your teeth and gums aren't used to. it took me about a week to eat anything, even sucking on candy hurt. it will wear off tho, and you'll totally forget that you have them on (but certain teeth will hurt from time to time because they're moving)

when you get them tightened, it's not as bad, but it still hurts. you get kinda used to the tightening after the few first times. and don't even get me started with bands

 

if she was lying then the story about faze apex being a midget would be real.

I had braces for few years. It especially hurted when I just got them. I remember taking 2 hours to eat lunch properly. It was a nightmare lmao.
