How do you all feel about the whole Magcon & Jacob shiz? In my opinion lmao I really hate Jacob A LOT! Magcon... Wtf even is it supposed to be!? Its a group of 13 year old boys who give hugs and make girls Spoiler: i'm not sexist!11!1! and boys go crazy! lol tell me how you feel about that stuff
It's really stupid. A lot of people make fun of it as a joke, but seriously, these kids should be in school, learning their times tables or something. They shouldn't be famous. What are they even famous for? Staring into a camera and moving your mouth? How is that something you can be famous for. Also, these kids get paid. Jacob Sartorius charged his fans 80 bucks to see him rap the ABC's. It's just, STOP. There are plenty of other people the same age as these kids that actually should be famous. What about Malala? If you don't know, she's a young woman in Pakistan that stands up for women's education. She took a bullet to the head that should've killed her, but she's still alive today, and has raised millions of dollars for education in Pakistan. She won the Nobel Peace Prize, but who gets recognized more? These kids who are famous for absolutely no reason, or a girl who has made a significant difference in the world?
Pop culture as a whole is cancerous enough, The fact that little kids are making it in the big leagues tells us just how backwards our society is nowadays. It is an undeniable fact that everything in life has a purpose. Whether spiritual or logical is a whole debate for scholars, but everything does have a purpose- except most of pop music. I mean, really? What is the big picture in singing about sex fior free, or getting some random girl at school? It's fucking stupid. Music is a way to empower people and send strong messages through lyrics. The idea of pop music though is to just entertain the public without stirring the pot. That's fucking stupid, and it's the only reason it's heard all the time. If you want real music with real messages, I suggest listening to the first few albums of the B.E.P., or alot of Foo Fighters. Songs like "Where is the Love" or "These Days" have some pretty powerful meanings in their lyrics. Overall, these kids are just part of the "pop hype", which is only meant to entertain and not stir the pot. Quite vain and unneeded if you ask me.
i agree One really messed up part of this is that Jacob Sartorious is the SECOND MOST FAMOUS PERSON IN THE WORLD... Meanwhile we have Gandhi ranked at NUMBER 985!!!What the heck?! Jacob is not relevant lol
The most cringeworthy human being probably on social media right now. He got to fame using a rubbish app called musical.ly where you basically lip-sync to songs and for some reason, people like it. He also spat out this horrible auto tuned garbage:
Welcome to the social media age? Oh you don't like how people, managers, and people above said singers make alot of money. Oh my bad. Let me just relax in my home and play video games, watch youtube. Because frankly I do not care. Props to whoever are using these kids. They are making alot of money off of them :^)
He isn't even in the top 500 most known people in the world. I've been living in India for 5 years now, and I haven't even heard of him until a month or two ago, and no one here even knows who he is.
