accidentally eating raw chicken

so last night i was having some chicken, and didnt notice the piece i was eating was raw inside without even thinking, when i had a look it was super pink and really raw looking, is it worth being a bit worried about? i dont wanna go to school puking every 5 minutes

 

Well be prepared for going to the toilet 10 million times

 

I'm not a know-it all about this, but I suggest telling a parent/guardian. They'll probably know what's going on/what to do.

 

How much did you eat?

 

If you start to feel sick over the next few hours or tomorrow, then yes, be worried.

If it wasn't a lot or you don't feel sick by tomorrow, you should be fine.

EDIT: According to le internet, salmonella, which can be found in raw chicken, takes 12-72 hours to show symptoms.

So watch yourself over the next few days if you ate a lot of chicken. If you start to feel sick, tell your parents ASAP.

If you didn't eat a lot, you should be fine.
Tummy troubles potentially, but nothing too severe
