I made an art and it was just a sketch but now I fixed it Here's what it was before: Spoiler: original Spoiler: updated How I did it: outlined with faber-castell fineliners colored kimono with R29 copic Erased some of the original shading took about 8-10 minutes I'd like to eventually finish by doing the hair, but I'm not really sure on how to do that... any suggestions?
You should shade the kimono with a darker shade, whether it be neutral grays, a darker hue of red, or a brown. Then go back with R29 for blending purposes. Be careful because blending will bleed through the paper since Copic markers are alcohol based. The hair should be black, imo, but use some brown as well to excentuate the hair itself. You could also add a blue rim light on the left side to create depth. I thought it was a finished sketch before outlining and the Copic. It seems like a lot of work just to erase it all.
Thank you for the tips, they're really appreciated :) I wanted to shade in the hair but I need to figure out a method first, and I didn't erase all of the sketch, just the parts that were shaded so i could re-do it with fineliner.
