But this is literally the main point of sports.... Sports are defined by physical labors so if you excluded that then you are just changing the word and its meanings as a whole.
You see the tree but you fail to see the forest, didja know my kind friend that football has been a thing since centuries while esports in general are here for only a century? Don't you think that it took football (and any other sport) a hell lot of time to become popular? And in MY point of view, esports are becoming popular faster, I just wanted to tell you my dear friend that your example is terrible, you don't call LoL esports because it's less popular than "real" sports? Tennis isn't that popular either, nor babington, hell, bowiling isn't that popular, so those aren't sports? Of course the distinction between them is vital, but don't go "aaaaaaaaaaawh LoL ain't a sport" and yada yada. Chess is a sport, why can't LoL or DOTA or CS be sports?
I was just showing an example of a terrible comparison in the video between the NBA and LoL. I don't think that League of legends isn't a sport because it isn't as popular, I don't think it's a sport because it lacks physical activity.
This thread is debating whether "esports" should be considered real sports. I was just answering your question you asked
An eSport isn't a sport. It's called eSports for a reason. An eSport is a completely different concept than a sport in terms of prerequisites. They are two different things, just like an apple is not an orange. Although the apple and orange are similar, they are, in fact, different. A sport is a sport. An eSport is an eSport. They are two different concepts; however, both require skill in their fields.
