2: Go onto mineplex. Play sg there. Notice how easy the players are.

Then, go to MCSG, and winning is much harder as they have good pvpers.

 

Okay, I know this is in response to people saying PvP is not clicking anymore in 1.9.
1.9 is going to be better than you think. Improvements are being made. PvP will be more advanced, regardless of what it is now.
Stop going onto threads just to bash 1.9, if you don't like it don't play it.

Pvp fights take forever to end

Teaming is encouraged

Zombie hordes are now impossible to beat

 

good because now mojang is being greedy hogs and not even testing changes

 

Do you know how hard they are working? They respond to requests. If people don't give legitimate reasons why it shouldn't be in the game, other than "It's ruined!" or "it sucks!" what are they going to have to work with?

 

How the pvp changes existed

1: People were just pvping.

2: Creative builders and redstoners get on pvp servers.

3: They get torn in half.

4: They complain to mojang on how they suck at pvp and make suggestions which will ruin pvp.

5: (future) Creative builders and redstoners go back to their respective jobs since they don't care about pvp, while pvpers experience tedious fights, and now it takes 20 minutes to get a kill in a kohi fight.

 

If someone likes building in creative, or redstoning, there are two reasons why they absolutely COULD care about PvP.
1) Maybe they want to take breaks and do something other than the one thing they do?
2) What if someone was making a PvP style map. Creative builders and redstoners fit here. They could both use more articulate PvP to use in their maps, which can make Minecraft more interesting, and the difficulty level you talked about earlier, it's BETTER to be challenged, and not just walk around slapping everything with a sword killing it in 2 hits.

 

Don't know why you're still mad

A. Big PvP servers won't bother updating to 1.9

B. You probably will have lost interest in Minecraft by the time this server becomes 1.9

1) Is there a problem that Minecraft is no longer simple? Tbh, I don't want Minecraft to ever be simple. I like the loads of features style.
2) If you say "Forever", you probably haven't even tried the snapshots. They're slightly slower, OK. Who cares? PvP fights were always too fast for it to look like an actual fight rather than two people swinging a sword at each other.
3) No it isn't.
4) Well, everyone in the Minecraft community complains the game is too easy. Now you're sad that it's too hard? Also, if you would have tried the snapshots a little more, you probably would know there's a swing attack that knocks multiple entities back, which helps exactly in zombie hordes.

 

I like how people are still going on about 1.9

1.9 requires a ton more Brainpower and thinking than 1.8, and TBH I like that more, it's like timing your shield bash in Skyrim against a Bandit's 2-handed power attack,

1.9 also doesn't rely as heavily on a person's wealth than 1.8 does.

I mean, what do you think will be more responsive to jitterclicking, A $60 razor Deathadder or a $15 Wireless Logitech? Now, there is absolutely nothing wrong with getting good stuff for your computer, but 1.8 relies really heavily on it, which doesn't make it that fair tbh.

1.9 is transforming pvp to test your steel than your gold, and if you can't take that then I guess you really are nothin but gold, bending so easily to any problem that you can't solve.

 

I'm pretty sure we are all beating a dead horse now.
