Minecraft 1.9 | Whats on your wishlist for the upcoming update?

Hello! I am posting this thread because I am interested in what you want in the 1.9 update for minecraft. My wishlist is:
more redstone related items / blocks:
such as more doors. sliding doors.
More decorative blocks:
Such as more stairs, more flowers and different glass designs. Like from john smith or Athery's Ascended pack.

Let me know what you would like to see in the upcoming update below :D

I'm pretty sure 1.9 is the combat update adding more weapons and shields. I don't think they are going to implement anything on your wish-list. However, those are some things I'd like to see in minecraft. c:

Shields aren't going to be added most likely. The update is granting dual-wielding and adding in more potions, and more combat-related items.

 

Pretty sure shields are already confirmed

 

I want duel wielding sword on one hand/ gapp on other

 

They are. Plus I'm pretty sure that they said you could even customize said shields with banners.

 

Better PVP, and maybe more swords

Definitely fish tanks, a crafting recipe for saddles and horse armor, more randomized biome generation, more biomes, and more replay value all together.

 

I have a huge list of what i want in 1.9, but ill only share a few :)

More weapons besides swords and Potion tipped arrows.

I would honestly want to see more weapons Like bludgeons, Maces, Katanas and War axes, it would add a ltitle more variety to Minecraft weaponry.
Katanas would be made with the same ingredients that is used to make swords but instead of putting the ingots or diamonds in a straight line, you put one in the middle slot and one to the left or right and you will get a katana. It has the same durability as a regular sword, just a new look. basically a reskin of the regular sword.

Bludgeons would be made with sticks and Iron ingots, and they would be less durable than swords. they wouldnt do as much damage either. THey would have the same durability as a stone sword.

War axes would pretty much be the same as regular axes though with a little bit more damage

And some more stuff for the nether too, to make it more terrifying

Like a Lava Monster that is like a boss that appears when you least expect it by Jumping out of the lava and trying to attack you. Elder ghasts that are 3 times bigger than regular ghasts and have deeper voices. they would also shoot larger fireballs with a blast radius of 5 TNT blocks. and Soul trees, where they look like dead trees with faces on them. Soul sand would be more creepier as if you walk on it, you would hear faint damage noises and groaning. and sometimes little pixelated hands would come up and try to drag you down thus creating the slow walking effect.

i have plenty more but this is just a few of my ideas :)

 

I want a taiga/ice temple. It would add a kill twist, and maybe traps would be your walking along a pathway and snowballs being shot at you.

For weapons, I honestly want an emerald sword. I wouldn't mind having a bow with emeralds, and emerald armor.

I would like a type of bat that only comes out at night and attacks you with the effects of "nausea, fatigue, and slowness" and be labelled "Blood drain."

 

I know they will probably not use, but I was hoping for more potion effects, and maybe like swords with potion effect on them.

Glass slabs.
Why: It would create more freedom in terms of building things, like with half windows and such, or countertops.

Bats have a very low chance of dropping redstone dust.
I don't know if it makes sense but it would be cool, and give another use for bats.

Beds should be able to be dyed.
Pretty self explanatory, they would still be crafted the same even with colored wool, but you could choose to dye it afterwards.

Jukeboxes should be redstone enabled.
Imagine how cool it would be to walk into a room and have music start playing on a jukebox because you stepped on a pressure plate.

More food options like:
Peaches
drop just as rarely from trees as apples do
Berries
drop sometimes from tall grass and ferns, can be crafted into juice with healing properties like milk, or possibly even used for brewing other potions

Ocelots could catch fish
and if you scare them away at the right time near water, they would drop some raw fish
If you take your tamed cat near water it would also try to catch some and drop it near you.

Tames wolves would pick up items for you
and then the next time you sit them down, they would drop them.

 

I was thinking of a new enchantment called Aerial

Where you hit a mob and you bounce in the air, giving you a good chance to escape.

Basically like Jump Boost (kind of)

 

They should add a sword enchantment that poisons your enemy.

 

Every Single Minecraft Updat It Ruins PvP in 1.9 You Can Hold 2 items
and "Healing Arrows" Lol Who Want's a Healing Arrow When You Shoot The Guy You Heal Him
and I'm Sure It's 2x Laggier Than 1.8

 

Since 1.6, Minecraft lost its touch on a building game, people started making so much intelligent shit that you just goto creative and make a 10x10 mansion and call it a dirt house, Minecraft should never have all these features (command blocks etc...), it should stay as a building game where people ACTUALLY build, not use 2 command blocks to build a giant arena
