[Server] What needs to be improved

It will get fixed, trust me there.
I'll talk to higher staff about it.

For now, try to pm admins+ about it yourself. More complaints = issue dealt with/quicker

the new minigame's for sure
but make sure that some are not copy+paste from other servers
why put something when they can go to another server for the same thing

We need to remove some of our unoriginal games and replace them with something original, and also make the other ones more in-depth. We should add shops and perks and etc to them.

 

Most common game ideas have already been thought of. It's hard to make a new idea for a minigame. If we took away the non-originals, we would lose creative, factions, skyblock, survival games, peaceful survival, spleef, oitc, etc. Almost every minigame on here. Yes, they have thought of original minigames, but only 2 or 3, compared the non-originals.

 

Im not saying remove all of them, as factions, creative, oitc, and skyblock are top-notch, but we should remove things like SG and Spleef and replace them with higher quality and original games.

 

I think the nether needs to be added to skyblock to allow for more freedom and capabilities. The islands don't have to be linked through the nether, but I believe that the nether should be added, since it is the only other source of gold except for completing challenges

 

I think that yes, we need more staff and minigames, but I think that recreating these threads over and over again does nothing but annoy and frustrate people, especially if we already have addressed the problems publicly.

My only opinion on this is that we've heard this before over and over.... I think we got it by the second time. These threads have a trend they only come up when promotions happen. I wonder why.... Anyways bye.

 

I see nothing wrong, nor anything like that, if make a thread like it, tell the owners or higher staff member if you really find it as a problem, I see nothing wrong, as they are already trying to deny/accept people at the fastes they can, but it's really hard.

Finding someone like deo is not happing, as all we have different personality, from all people.

Getting new minigames and etc, is hard for them, as they think of new mini-games theyself, not from other people.

Trying to Enforcing rules, they already trying the best of they can do, in my opinion, I maybe see people over 15+, being staff, but still, it doesn't matter, they always to get better staff members, but as I did say, it's already really hard to find someone good enough to get accepted, they always tryes there best, they don't slack or anything, if not needed.

People take Minecraft seriously lol o-o.
The lives of the staff don't revolve around the server.
Many things that people want to have happen on this server is unnecessary and a waste of time.
I agree the rules should be enforced more.
Some people are getting away with too much and it's unfair.

 

One thing that I want to see changed is the way the banning system works. Not like, change the punishments for certain violations, but rather the strictness of permanent bans.

From what I have counted, five people have been permanently banned on the forums in the last year. A few days after that, they were pretty much allowed a second chance. Which, I don't have any problem with the concept; everyone deserves a second chance. What I do have a problem with, however, is how easy it is to get let back in. When I had been banned from the forums, I had to work to get my second chance. It took me months to do it, but in the end, my work payed off. These certain individuals didn't work for jack shit (from what I have seen). They were banned, few days later, back to posting.

In my opinion, they should have to work off their debt to the server and Daorack (as it was him who allowed them back in). Of course, this is probably a bit bias as I somewhat feel cheated. And it's nothing against the people who were banned and then unbanned (at least. not all of them. Not going to bother acting as though I don't want some of them to be re-banned. They're being told what I think, and besides, they wouldn't believe me if it wasn't anything against them.)

Honestly though, if you're going to perm ban someone, and you perm banned them for a legitimate reason, they need to prove that they're ready to return before you allow them back.

 

I know right... I think Harry and Jerry are well aware of all the problems happening right now and complaining will not do much..

Anyways, as I was saying,
if J&H know the most important issues,
why don't they fix them, until they become more important, and harder to fix?

So you are saying that some of the staff are using their positions for popularity more than actually doing their job.

I agree with Jerome's post completely.

Ever since I first joined the server in about mid 2013 there has been 2 new minigames and some updates like the factions reset.
I agree that there should be more staff members, cause whenever I get on I only see like 1 or 2 staff members that aren't in the lobby, and that's in factions.
Honestly, I think the rules are enforced at a good amount.
I think that we should just be patient and wait for the staff to either accept or deny all the staff applications that are currently open. If you look at all the staff applications that were accepted, they weren't accepted immediately accepted some took a few months. Mine is still open and I'm just waiting patiently for it to be accepted or denied.


EDIT: I just reread my post and realized it sounded like I was advertising my application, but I'm not. Just wanted to clear that up.
