I created this thread so people can post songs in which the lyrics mean something, like for human rights or morality. My song is Beds Are Burning by Midnight Oil. The meaning of it is it being a protest song about giving native Australian lands back to the Pintupi, who were among the very last people to come in from the desert. These 'last contact' people began moving from the Gibson Desert to settlements and missions in the 1930s. More were forcibly moved during the 1950s and 1960s to the Papunya Settlement. You can post any songs that protest for the greater good, defending people, homeless, self esteem, etc. As long as they have an inspirational meaning that people can benefit from.
I think Tupac had a lot of meaningful songs. He had a lot of hidden messages in his songs, he said so in an interview. Ghetto Gospel Last Muthafucka' Breathin' Keep Ya Head Up Here is the one by Tupac I like the most Changes I forgot about this one. 12 Stones - World So Cold (Nightcore) (I did the nightcore version because I like it better.)
I think even if you don't like Lorde, this song is still good to most people. It's called A World Alone. Give it a listen?
I dont really know any songs that have something to do with life but I think this does EDIT: maybe this
