United States - 2016 Race for the White House

Trump's naturally biased. He's a rich dude. Why not just benefit himself? Besides, some people don't keep their promises once they get to office.

Because Ted Cruz riles up all the hyper-conservatives with his speeches and is heavily influenced by the Tea Party aka anarchists. Also, I'm repelled by his policy stances.

Mind you Jesus was CRUCIFIED by the government he supposedly loved. With the Right-Wing all I see are lies & more lies & blanket statements. I know the liberals are no better by bashing conservatives, BUT ATLEAST LIBERALS USE FACTS AND ACTUAL COMMON SENSE AND WANT EQUALITY TO EVERY HUMAN. That's another thing; Right-wing doesn't believe in Equality for everyone. If they did, there would be no trouble with Gay Rights or Transgend respect. I think likewise, but I was restraining such thoughts. Politics are so controversial nowadays, I didn't want to anger the right wing people and start a flame war.

Likewise I respect you for your candidate choices. I believe that all people have good intentions even if I don't agree with their course of action.

 

Anyone that can be a good president for all the citizens of america. A very right-wing conservative would be a terrible idea, but a very left-wing progressive is also not ideal for everybody in america. I don't think that america is ready for someone like Bertie Sanders, even though I think that he is pretty great.

I'm hoping for an other democrat. (Democrats in America are pretty central actually if you them with left- and right-wing people in the Netherlands)

 

Bernie Sanders, in fact, is not even a Democrat. He's not a member of the party. He's an Independent, running as a Democrat since being a member of another party besides Democrat/Republican, he has no real shot. He refuses to join the cookie cutter Democratic party, even though he votes with them most of the time. He actually describes himself as a Democratic Socialist. Anyways, Bernie rocks and I hope he wins the nomination and the presidency =)

Trump comes from an untrustworthy business and used untrustworthy practices. He foolishly threatens to sue anyone that dates to offend him and makes very vague statements far too often. He's much too radical of a Republican - if he could even be called that.
If anything, the Republicans are doing a very risky move by not calling out Trump. It's been turning a decent amount of people away from the party, hence why the Democrats look like they have the upper hand.
That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if in the end it came down to the approval rate of the current president. That's what has happened in most past elections, anyway.

I don't know too much about politics in america, but if Bernie a Democrat and a Republican are the last that are running for president, then the republican will likely win, therefore it will always be a 1 vs 1 battle in America (Which sucks i.m.o), that is for sure.
