I have no clue on where to post this thread, but I thought it would fit best under the real life stuff. I'm sorry if this thread is in the wrong section. Anyway...

Hello, this is my first time building my own pc. Took me a few weeks to figure out which parts would be the best for me, and I have finally finished. I will be using this build for gaming, rendering, and possibly video editing. It would be awesome if you guys can check it out, as I am still wondering if its performance will be good enough, especially for rendering and video editing. Before I forget, would the power supply be fine for now, or should I upgrade it?

    Edit: Updated my build.

It's fine, although there are several ways you could improve.

Firstly, a 960 is sadly a waste of money. A 760 is cheaper and performs near identically. If you can, maybe even see if you could get a 290.

Secondly, your case is rather large. I have a full tower and I was shocked at the size when it came. Go for a mid/micro tower. It's more suitable in size and will save you some money.

Third, since your processor is unable to overclock, don't bother getting an aftermarket cooler. I'd only go for one if you try the stock one and it proves to be too loud or ineffective.

Fourth, you won't need to get any more fans for the case. The fans that the case comes with are perfectly fine and don't any upgrades unless using rather toasty components.

Fifth, a Black hard drive is a waste of money. A blue performs near identical as it has been proven to perform exactly the same if you're getting the 1TB version. Only get a black if you're using the 2TB+ model.

Any money saved from following these steps could be used to upgrade the system, possibly by upgrading your processor, graphics card, or maybe an SSD.

If you plan on using wireless networking, don't forget a wireless card.

Also, your power supply is perfectly fine, don't worry :).

Aside from that, your build seems perfectly. Good luck building it!

Nice. I'd make a list but I don't know half the crap in it. All I know is that it's amazing.

    Dual graphics card
    4k video monitor
    3.6GHz AMD FX 8150 processor
    Water cooling
    16GB Ram
268 GB Samsung HD (Plus a bunch of other hard drives)
Windows 10 preview (Alpha testing :P)
and other crap I couldn't list
