foreword: yes, i am leaving the server. i'm not completely sure if this is permanent yet, but if it's not, it'll at least be a long time.

{ the good }​

i don't really know where to start, so i'm just going to say that i've had a fantastic time on this server.

for the past 3 days, i haven't really had the heart to write this thread. not gonna lie, i'm going to miss some people on this server a LOT, especially those that i talk to often and don't have a skype.

after being on this server for about a year, i can say that it quickly became my favorite. when i first joined, there were about 200 people on, sometime in late 2012, and the server's grown exponentially since then.

i probably met my favorite people on the server around this time, (lina, cait, joey, vgg) and i've become close with a lot of people since then. shoutout to all the friends that i've had here that have helped me have a great time here. too many to name, but if you're REALLY curious, thheennn...

{ the bad }​

the reasons i'm leaving.

basically, my experience has been corrupted by a handful, and it's been pretty significant, to where that we've gotten where we are now.

the general things, the attention seekers, loud people, etc

no, these are not the grey text people, they're actually much better than most.

many of these people are the main reason i began to hate the hub, and resort to spleef.
spam, caps, exclamation points, "OMFG NDVKDD", and so on.

an extra note: no, i'm not referring to people who spam "HI" in chat a million times. i'm referring to those who are just loud when talking to other people, some of them are actually quite well known on server, and probably for this reason. maybe i have a low tolerance level, or it's just something i don't really get. but "OMGG XDDDD LAUGHING SO HARD IRL HAHHAHA YEESSSSS" isn't really... socially acceptable, more annoying in my opinion. ALTHOUGH, i will make a note that these users are generally younger, but not at the age where it would be understandable... 13 and 14 y/o's. (socially acceptable isn't the right word, but i can't think of anything better atm)

this is probably the most annoying thing ever, your text is already white, so

calm down. it's annoying.

yes, this is part of the reason i'm leaving.


you can consider it ridiculous, but i'm beyond annoyed by many people.

so please, in the future, when caps lock talking to your friend in public chat, consider those of us that are slowly going insane.

another point that should be covered: this server isn't a popularity contest.

doing the above to get more attention may gain more friends for you, since you're the only thing appearing in chat, but it's also corrupting a lot more things behind that.

i've been on this server for a looong time, and it was definitely not this before.
there's really no one to blame for this, it's just how it ended up.

i could put up with it before, buuut with some time, some of you guys have completely broke me.

it may be enjoyable for you, but it's pretty sickening hearing rumors about me come back to me, so right now, i'll address some things i've heard:

because for some reason, i get questions like:
"hey, i heard you hate so and so, is that true"

NOTE: i felt that this shouldn't really go for everyone, considering it's just a handful of people. it sounds rude, but the fact that it's true has just brought me here: since apparently spreading rumors about me is a thing now, you can go crazy now, considering i'm leaving. have fun. i hope it had brightened your day to talk about me.

i don't think people actually understand that i do feel affected by this. some here have been ruder to me than anywhere else, including other servers, irl, and other places.

some have earned "rudest person i've ever talked to in my life"

the awards just stack up higher and higher.

behind this, there's really nothing i can do about it, besides avoiding the general public on the server, or just going to where i am now, which is leaving to go elsewhere.

so, finally,

would have loved to stay longer, i truly love being with my close friends on this server, but with the AS'ers and rumors spreading, i don't really feel like this is the place for me anymore.

i really will miss some of you guys, as this was my only place to talk to some of you, and i've had a fantastic year, so thank you.

i'll miss this place so much, this is the longest i've ever stayed on a server, and i loved it.
