This is actually a valid debate in Australia. I wonder if this is discussed elsewhere. Where do you store tomato sauce and why. Was inspired by this skit by some Aussie boys,
Cupboard until it's opened, then it goes in fridge. Why? simply because that's what the label says i can imagine this gets annoying if you live with a roommate who has a different opinion about this
PEOPLE WHO DONT WANT THEIR SPAGHETTI TASTING LIKE MARMADUKES GREASY DOG ASSHOLE, PERHAPS! Unless warm = room temperature, in which case, I agree. But warm as in hot... ye
Let me ask the fridge people this: - how do you cope when you go camping and take sauce. - what if you have no power. Surely you won’t waste the fridge coolness to grab sauce out of the fridge. - do you accept room temperature sauce when at restaurants? Like Taco Bell sauce in the sachets. Generally to everyone: Do you shake the sauce bottle before you use it? Are there other sauces that get stored differently in your house? I store my tomato sauce outside the fridge because the container is massive and can’t fit in the fridge. However, when it’s a small bottle it goes in the fridge. I store chocolate sauce and some other sauces in the cupboard.
