Growing up with Minecraft

You can say all you want about these new games, Fortnite, PUBG, BO4, Overwatch, but nothing will beat Minecraft.

Minecraft is something that is a part of me, and likely a part of you. Without Minecraft, you today doesn’t exist. Minecraft made us who we are and we don’t give it enough credit.

I’ve spent countless hours just playing with multiple friends I’ve met through my life, but not one time have I felt that this game was upsetting or bad. Minecraft just made a turn that I didn’t like. I had to adapt or leave it, and I left it.

Growing up with Minecraft is the experience I wish I could have back. Playing MCPE for 6 hours until it was time for bed in 2012, loading in my first PC world and building a roller coaster in 2013. Minecraft offered it all, and I wanted it.

My first experience on J&H consist of Creative and Skyblock. I loved the idea of Donators and Legends, like they had value. When I got my first rank, I wanted attention. God- I wish I could go back.

A constant in Minecraft will be the music. I turned it off almost always, but I didn’t when I first started playing. And that’s what takes me back. The day they change Minecraft music is when I lose interest completely. I no longer could feel the way I missed so dearly and play like I could.

I grew up with Minecraft. Now it’s time to move on and grow up.

yeah! probably because when we think back, all the big and good things that happend come to mind. we forget that most of the time we were just bored and probably doing nothing or something we didn't really wanna be doing. just like now...hmmm :/

 

I don't want to say much because honestly, I could go on and on about the effect Minecraft, heck, even this community inside the game has had on me. Truly, if I never stumbled upon this great game and especially this community, I would be a completely different person. I've went through tough experiences in this game, and being in the Minecraft community, that has shaped me to be the person I am today. It's remarkable how much a video-game can have an effect on the overall person you can become.

 

If I had a time machine, I'd like to go back in those days.

I don't think it's possible for Minecraft to be erased forever. Someone out there will always remember it. I miss the old 2013-2015 days around the time I started playing. It was a game that helped you grow up and move onto those other games like Fortnite, etc. So many memories were made too, you'd never want those to be forgotten either

I coulda probably lived my life without minecraft tbh.. Sometimes I wish I didn't grow up with it, but then I wouldn't have met the amazing people I got in my life.
I only stuck around for the people around me, not the game itself.
