What have you acomplished this 2018?

2018 was a lit year not gonna lie.

• Got my car license
• built my first ever PC
• Saved enough for a Car
• Found out I have the best-best friends anyone could ask for
• turned 18 ;););)

Honestly, I haven't accomplished much.
Been working all through 2018.
I lost friends, cut toxic people out of my life and now I'm left with nearly nothing.
If it's one thing that I did accomplish, it's knowing my own worth, and knowing who's good for me and who isn't.

2019 is my bounce back year :)

 

Kept up good grades in school, kept working, found a potential career I wish to go into, got my license, and got my first car. Lit year

 

I mean, the beginning of my year was horrible tbh and parts towards the end but from about summer till now, I have been doing a lot.

- Moved out this summer
- Now in a stable job
- Out with friends a lot and having good parties
- Stopped coming online which helped tbh

Overall, life is just calm right now. Like it this way.

 

Lots of great things I should mention:

• Finished my first semester of high school with high honors.
• Raised hundreds of dollars for Charity Water compliments to my Grandparents.
• Started socializing more with the help of the J&H community.
• Spent more time exercising rather then sitting on my computer.
• Achieved the helper rank.

There are many more to be mentioned. Overall 2018 was a great year for me; but I still believe 2019 could be a year for me to improve further.

 

I'd say 2018 was my best year thus far:

• Best marching season (won Grand Champion at all three of our competitions)
• Made a hell lot more friends than I ever thought I would ever have.
• Gained a hell lot more confidence in myself.
• Made amazing memories with my best friends.
• Nailed the driving exam on the first try and got my driver's license.
• Saw my childhood heroes, the Foo Fighters (for the third time... but whatever I love them!), and my all-time favorites, Nine Inch Nails, in concert!!!!
• Growth and learning blah blah blah
• Other cool accomplishments!

 

• got out of a toxic relationship
• saw harry styles in concert
• got antidepressants

hopefully 2019 will be a lot better lmao

 

• Turned 18
• Got a girlfriend
• ;)
• Finished school
• Got a driving license (first test)
• Went on 2 ski trips
• Spent every single day exercising
• And other stuff I can't talk about

 

wrote my hit songs ‘bullying is okay’ and ‘bingo had a little lamb,’ lost all my irl friends, and learned to rap better

 

I pretty much fucked up my life with the way i've been livin lhis year...next year will definetly be better. or at least different.

 

So, this is gonna be a long list, and I don't even think this is all of them. This year has definitely been a journey, especially music wise:

• I have gotten to see Neal Morse, one of my first ever Progressive Rock idols again and he remembered me and loved to see me again
• Saw Haken yet again, the lead singer, Ross Jennings greeted me with a hug, while getting hugs from 4 out of 6 members, while getting my first ever Haken shirt signed by the band, plus my albums
• Built up a reputation with the band Sons of Apollo, and I was the only one that got a selfie with the guitarist
• My art has been getting noticed by my idols on Instagram, from them liking it to reposting it. Even the drummer of Haken posted a picture of my art I gave him during this year's VIP meet and greet!
• I stopped getting acrylic nails mainly because it was a waste of money and it tore my thumb nail off, so I got a new nail and I saved money while learning that a 3$ bottle of nail polish is less dangerous
• I got into new music, specifically heavier metal (Slayer, Metal Allegiance, Cannibal Corpse)
• Improved my art and went back to digital drawing
• I would say I became more outgoing with in real life stuff. I've been finding my place in the world and I've been more open to my friends about issues and feelings and all. I've been finding stuff that I'm good at and friends that support me on my talents and interests

I've learnt this year to not hide away all your life. You have friends there that are with you for every step of the way, internet or real life, they're there. Cheers to another year!
