It is true that the server is turning into a ghost town. None of my friends are online that used to be probably because people are getting older and Minecraft itself is getting out of shape. For the most part I play survival but before that it was Creative, I made friends on survival and bonded with people but now that is quickly fading. Sometimes I think about all the great things I could Achieve with my mind and the amount of money I have In-Game but then when I get on to try to recruit players it is just a wasteland and u can't make a big fac without people so yea. Sky block is fun and considering it is mostly a single player game I get a lot out of that and spend time with it. Also, I have spent a lot of money when It comes to my rank which is Herobrine and money on spawners but now with the server basically gone, I feel I wasted a lot of my money. If you would believe me when I say this but this isn't the only minecraft server that is fading away, Sometimes I get onto Mineplex which is all gone, If i want to play a mini game on that server i wouldn't because no one is playing on the server except for me and to be honest, This whole thing is really sad, People would go onto these servers and expect to have fun with people they have met and make an epic kingdom out of basically nothing and the In-Game store. Everyone knows thats feeling when they would get onto the server and check your chat to see several people typing your name in all caps because they are so happy to see you. That is a feeling I will never get to feel again and most people won't either. Recently I watched a video on how Minecraft Is dying and It really sums up this whole thing, I will post the link below.
I left minecraft altogether a few years ago; this server was one of the few things that kept me playing before I retired, quite notably the oitc minigame. Every now and then, I will log on to see if anything has changed, only to see unfamiliar faces. Every now and then, someone will recognize me, but mostly everyone I knew, has since moved on. I feel like this server gave a lot of people a good time back in the day, however minecraft in general has shrunk, causing servers to suffer in general. I recall a few weeks back playing Herobrine's chamber; a game once filled with dozens of players and numerous games going on at once. I joined the only game, as there were three people online. It really hurts to see this server like this, but it is.. what it is, and we have to accept it.
Well I play J&H probably once a week or every 2 weeks. I used to play all day on SB1 and OITC before Minecraft began dying and it was great times but now I only play on SB1 now and that’s like the main reason why I’m still playing on J&H. I usually just come online and just chill/talk and see if there’s anything new or exciting to do when I need breaks from Fortnite. Even though I’ve moved more into Fortnite than Minecraft nowadays I hope the server won’t need to shutdown because there’s less players or anything related to being dead. I love this server and it’s the only reason I still play this game.
I get on whenever I feel like talking to old friends but then I see that my friends list is dead so I just go on the first minigame that comes to mind, do stuff and leave.
I usually get on 3-4 times a week, but I try to be more active. I used to play every day, but I found other games and friends that don't play Minecraft so I don't play as often. I play Creative, socialize with people, and then I'll get off. That's usually how I do it
Oddly enough I actually come on the server a lot to maintain our Outposts on Factions and I always come on for KOTH so pretty much daily, sometimes I'll play HC or OITC wid friends but other than that its Faithful and Hypixel.
