7/10/17 & 7/10/18

Hello everyone! Many of you know me, and @Xcel . Around 4 years ago, we met through this server. Christian and I had met through mutual friends, and little did we know that we would impact each other's life's greatly. Last year in the summer of 2017, Christian and I found ourselves in a relationship with one another. Since then we have gone through a lot together, and have grown as individuals and as a whole. On July 10th, 2018 (7/10/18) we met for the first time. Now you may be asking why the title of this thread has 7/10/17 in it, however that the date Christian and I started dating. It's a very important date for the two of us. We had a blast and thought we should share it with you. Enjoy this cute little video I have put together.



SIDE NOTE: Internet relationships are just as real as real life relationships. It is truly amazing to fall in love with a person for who they are, rather than looks. Christian and I really did think we would never see each other. However, after 4 years of knowing each other, we have both proven ourselves wrong. Regardless of distance, love is real no matter where two people are located. Just remember, shoot your shot, because anything is possible.

We will share all of our journeys with you, and continue to prove that internet relationships are far more than what people know them as.

this touches me deeply knowing how well other online relationships are going. online relationships are just as real as irl ones. you devote more emotion to an online relationship as opposed to an irl one because you can't physically see them or go on dates.

my girlfriend and i have been together for 13 months now and we were lucky and got to be with each other for 3 months irl

i know e-dating is the "cringy" thing to do now, especially on video games like minecraft, but y'all have to remember that a lot of married couples with CHILDREN have met in chat rooms.

Even though I don’t encourage online relationships anymore, I believe they can work given some thought. Firstly, it’s important having a balanced amount of commitment coming from both people. Another thing is connecting with someone in your own country/area as it makes it easier to meet up with them. Lastly, age is another factor to consider when attempting these things. Half the time, people are too young to understand the challenge of long distance and the likelihood of reaching expectations. These are the things I did not consider many moons ago, which contributed to my failed relationships. One problem I remember well: I struggled with and could not overcome trust. With being so far away, it’s hard to judge and be 100% sure that the other person is being honest and loyal at the other end. However, this is a good test in determining whether the relationship is strong and going to last.

I’m glad to see that your relationship has worked out well, and that you’re happy. Congrats guys
