Heroes from different universes / movies meeting for the first time lived up to my expectations. Super funny.

The time stone has me really confused though. I wonder if the ending was meant to happen. Remember when Dr Strange looked at the possible endings in trying to defeat Thanos and that there was only one? I wonder if he knew that Star Lord was gonna have a freak out and that was all part of the plan for the “successful” ending. SO MAYBE HOPE IS NOT LOST. However, Doctor Strange faded away at the end so I’ve got no idea how things are gonna work out in the next movie.

Btw: Spider-Man crying out to Tony that he didn’t want to go was so sad :,(

First off, I loved it. Yes I'm ill-hearted about some parts of the film but overall I really did enjoy it.
There's so much to discuss but something that really stuck out to me was Loki.

Loki. (Everything bad that was said and did to Loki like ever was Odin's fault) I will defend Loki always.
I don't only have this theory because he's one of my favourite characters but because his "death" just didn't make any sense. Loki is a clever character. He is the God of mischief. He's got magic on his side. Why would a literal god/frost giant pull a dagger on Thanos? Loki knows Thanos better than anyone else, he knows the infinity stones, he has used them before and understands how powerful they are. He knows how powerful Thanos is. Loki isn't stupid to just go after Thanos with a knife when he could have done so much more.
When Hulk and Thanos were fighting and Heimdall sent Hulk back to Earth...Loki was gone the entire time. That scene had to be at least a minute long. Where did he go? Any why did he confront Thanos when Thanos was about to leave?
Valkyrie and Korg are missing and Thor states that Thanos spared HALF of the Asgardians. Chances are that those two escaped with the rest and Loki could've went with them. Thanos specifically said 'no more resurrections,' but resurrection means coming back from the dead. One, you can't come back from the dead if you have never died and two, even if he was dead...that does not mean he can't come back in another way.
Tom Hiddelston mentions in a recent interview that "Chaos isn't something that's threatening to Loki" and that "everything is fine".
Loki's choice of last words, "You will never be a God", introduces that the fact Loki has survived due to the fact that he is a God and can't be killed so easily.
If the Russo's wanted the make Loki's death truly believable, they would have had Loki using his powers and Thanos seeing straight through them and THEN killing Loki. The fact that Loki didn't use any of his tricks just makes his death seem fake.
Lastly I refuse to believe that Thor's last words to him were" You really are the worst brother".... it really just seems so wrong after all that they have been through.
    ------
Thor. Thor is the strongest avenger. Both emotionally and physically.
    ------
It was not anyone's fault that they "lost". It was meant to be that way.
    - How dare someone blame him when he just lost someone whom he loved so much? How can you expect him not to react like that? That's called character depth and development. You also saw that Doctor Strange was the only one who didn't try to stop him when he freaked out. He knew that Peter was going to do that. It was meant to be that way. If he never did, they would ultimately loose.

How was she supposed to know that Thanos had the time stone? The poor girl had to kill someone that she loved. She had to go through all that pain and suffering to literally save the universe all for NOTHING.

Literally the last person you should blame. Dr. Strange planned everything down to a T. Things went exactly how he wanted them to happen in order for them to win. When he was on the ship with Peter and Tony, he said he wouldn't trade the stone for their lives. Then after seeing all 14 million different outcomes, only one of which that had one..he trades the stone for Tony's life. He didn't do that for no reason. He needed Tony alive. He knew exactly what he was doing and is proven by what he says. "Tony there was no other way" The bottom line is they had to lose to win. Yes, Thanos one this time but ultimately he will lose all thanks to Doctor Strange.
    ------
Gamora, Vision (possibly) and Heimdell are the only deaths I find believable. The thanos death snap deaths aren't so believable because we know that their stories aren't over for one and there will be other films (Spider man, black panther, etc)

    Yes, I cried a lot.

A kid in my theater with a Mjolnir started screeching and slamming the Thor hammer repeatedly into the ground when the movie was over. He called the movie ending bullshit and the worst ending to a movie he’s ever seen.

When there was no salvation of a ‘good ending’ after the post credits scene, his screams were so loud I’m pretty sure his parents went deaf because they did nothin to calm him down.

Anyway, I was happy to see Nick Fury again, even if only for a brief moment. Pretty hype for Captain Marvel now and Infinty War 2, whatever it ends up being called.

I have a brief prediction for the sequel:
So, we know that Nick Fury, before he disintegrated, paged Captain Marvel. We also know that Loki, who had a premature death in the beginning of the film, could have easily cheated death. Like Seb stated, his death just simply didn't make sense to me. Strange, who saw into all 14 million possible endings, knew this, and just decided to give Thanos the Time Stone. So; I feel like the next film will involve Loki cheating death once again and Captain Marvel, as well as the living "Avengers" (Stark, Rogers, Thor, etc), are probably going to pull the Infinity Gauntlet, defeat Thanos, day is saved. Only part I'm confused about is how Ant-Man and The Wasp play into it, because they weren't shown at all during Infinity War, yet they are part of the universe.

honestly ive never cried so much at a movie. i cried at all their deaths especially spidermans!! i havent seen homecoming but still my heart: ((
my theory for the next film is that cap marvel will somehow beat thanos with the help of the living avengers, and then give the timestone to wong. it didnt show him living or dying and there is a chance he could be alive, as well as him seeing dr strange use the spell before im sure he could do it aswell. i also think hawkeye lived and will be v v mad like ooooo

also, i think that the people who died 'normally' (without the click) will come back, maybe except loki and heimdall unless they can go back that far
    !!if that even happens!!
    im a trash can

I'm kinda expecting Ant Man & The Wasp to appear in the sequel as new heroes to replace those who were "erased" or "died". They were mentioned briefly for a short period of time in the movie yet they never appeared. This kind of makes sense since the sequel to Ant Man hasn't been released yet so they obviously wouldn't put The Wasp into Infinity War without the character having some sort of backstory. Maybe all the new hero movies we get made by Marvel will make their way into the Infinity War sequel?

We have new information from Ant Man and The Wasp.
Major Spoilers. Do not read if you have not seen Ant Man and The Wasp yet.
The film leaves us with a few more deaths from Thanos’s finger snap:
    -Dr. Henry Pym
    -Janet van Dyne (The Wasp)
    -Hope Pym/van Dyne (The Wasp)

The film also leaves Scott Lang (Ant Man) left in the Quantum Realm, alive. It is unclear how he will fit into Avengers 4.

EDIT: The current theory that I'm seeing is that Scott will be sucked in through a time vortex and be popped into Avengers 4, a few years into the future.

Ant Man and The Wasp ends us off with “Ant Man and The Wasp will return?”

All we gotta do is wait for Captain Marvel.
