Feather 10 boots are not what i intended

Detailed description of bug: So you know how they added the feather 10 boots?
well they dont actully do like anything because u still die from a fall above like 150 blocks when the whole purpose was basically no fall damage to make building bases like 10 times easier. So can you increase the level of feather falling to like 100 or just make it so you dont take fall when wearing them. I also have the only pair in existance rn and i want them fixed because its still annoying to build bases because i will die every time i fall still even though the whole point of introducing those was to not have to go to the bottom and collect your items again and again ok thnx byE
