I want to get a tablet that I can use for general use and for school, but I don’t know too much about tablets other than iPads and I’m not sure I want to get that if there are better options out there.
I’m looking for one that has:
Internet Support + Support for Google docs
Good for digital art/drawing (I’m not much of an artist but maybe it’d be a good hobby lol)
    Fairly good battery life
A good amount of apps to buy
    E-book support
Relatively inexpensive (<300$ is a good range)
If there are no better ones I’ll probably end up getting an iPad but I want to know what my options are.
    Thanks for your help!

Easily an iPad, an affordable option would just be the 9.7-inch. It's good for art and E-book support and has pretty good battery life.

However, an alternative option is the Kindle Fire and is $99 so super affordable. There are a lot of downsides the KF can't really fix such as art and is slightly less user friendly/student friendly.

Though, the decision is yours

I had a Samsung Galaxy TabS which lasted YEARS. I did all of my art on it until it crapped out just recently from an unknown reason. (knowing me it could of been anything)
I've had a Kindle Fire and I have to say they are good for general use but I'm not 100% about art, even though I'm sure you can just get an app for art and use a stylus that could be found at the dollar store or something.
I personally recommend the Samsung Galaxy TabS (if you're into Samsungs) but if not then the Kindle Fire is a good alternative!
Also as a bonus, if you're looking for a good art app, I've had about a year and a half experience with Autodesk Sketchbook Pro. It's free and just went through an update which adds more stuff!

I recommend and iPad because it is easy to use, reliable, as said it is an affordable option. The iPad is very easy to set up as well. :) Have a nice day!

I think you should get the iPad.

    iPad 9-7. inch
    • $329 for 32GB
    • 10 hour battery life
    • Decent cameras
    • iOS 11 is flawless for students
    • Compatible with eBooks, ability to download into iBooks
    • Works with Google Docs
    • Over 1 million apps on App Store
    • Touch ID
    • Compatible with Apple Pencil

I personally think the iPad is the best option, perfect for a student; good for taking notes, taking quick photos and the drag and drop feature, multi screen is so perfect.
