hola so I've chosen a basis of what the classes I want to take are for this year but I can change it, this is what i chose:
    • precalc with trig honors
    • ap us history
    • ap psychology
    • ap lang
    • ap environmental science
    • introduction to medicine/exploring health sciences/medical terminology
    • genetics and biotech
so I literally have no use for ap environmental science except for astronomy which i love but I am going on a premed track in college, and when looking at the colleges I'm interestded in physics is a prerequisite for them all and therefore idk if I should take physics or not. but I'm also taking chem honors rn and ap chem would help me for my premed track. i decided to save ap bio for my senior year because its the most difficult curriculum our school offers and im not sure whether or not id be able to manage all the aps plus ap bio.

if following a premed track, does anyone know whether i should take ap bio or ap chem next year? id consider taking ap bio? but also i could take ap chem and physics in the same year, then save gen and biotech for senior year with ap bio. im sure this is really confusing but if you know about this stuff and or understand it please help!!!

Have you already taken regular Bio, Chem or Physics yet?

Also don't take AP Environmental Junior year.

If you have the option of choosing your classes no one is stopping you from taking multiple science classes your senior year. You can skip your math class if you only need 3 math credits to graduate like me or drop an elective to take a core science class instead.

gonna be a junior next school year (11th grade)

    im thinking about taking:

    -English 11 Honors
    -US/VA History Honors
    -Physics or Ecosystems
    -Political Science
    -Spanish 3
-Econ. (stands for economics and personal finance) (required) (I might take this class over the summer, if so, I will take Art 2 or some other Art class instead of Econ. during the school year)
    -Algebra 2

these might change depending on what my final course selections are

ive taken both chem and bio
    and also why not?

my electives are science based, they are the ones driving me and helping me towards my premed. they are gen nd biotech and intro to med

omg i live in va and im taking econ this summer as well as algebra 2 so that i can take precalc next year, and then take ap calc senior year

    don't take apush
haha jk but seriously it's hard

anyway my classes this year (im a junior) are:
    -web design
    -ap english (lang comp)
    -ap chemistry
-yearbook (should've switched this out for ap psych at the beginning of the year ):)
    -apush
    -community service (glorified study hall)
    -dual credit pre calc/trig
ap lang is interesting and you get to write a lot of argumental papers and rhetorical analysis

ap psych (or so i've heard) is really interesting and fun
i say this with experience, pre calc is pretty much 100% algebra II review, just a lot of graphing & logarithmic functions, trig is interesting

my classes next year (that im planning on taking) are:
    -ap calculus
-ap physics c (they're not planning on having a/b, and they're making it an ap calc/phys block)
    -ap lit
    -ap computer science (pltw)
    -ap psych
-gov/econ (fuck 2 ap exams for one course)
    -study hall

Then take Physics next semester for sure, as you will need to take it at one point and it looks better when applying to college than other science courses. You can take APES, but I would just save it for senior year. Its just kinda a "joke class" and known as one of the easiest. Nothing against it, I'm taking it this year. But I would just wait, as colleges will look more at your junior year classes and grades when looking at your application.
