Things that are required to join the team

1. Knowing your way around building
You've gotta know some basics for building at the least, this team isn't based completely on the best builders, we also focus on teaching people who wish
to start building.

2. Being able to build on your own
You have to be able to build on your own, which I believe you should be able to,
if you have a picture of your own plot with a build that you built then you're fine.

3. You have to be a cool person
Only cool people get to join.

4. You have to be 13 or older
I(Toby) have experienced some immaturity among teams of building
which shall not be named, it is required to have a good level of maturity.

Things that are recommended if you plan to join the team
1. Having a good chunk of building experience
In this section, we tell you recommendations if you wanna join
our team, it is recommended that you have a good chunk of experience in
building, as you get to jump right in.

2. Ye gotta have a discord m8
We communicate with the discord app, you can still join if you don't
have a discord, it just makes it easier for us, if you don't have a discord
while you are on the team there is no way we can communicate, so you will need a
discord account some time.

If you think that a person should be accepted like their application

If you stop meeting the requirements you will be warned and if you don't meet the requirements within a day you will me immediately banned within the next day

Should you be accepted you shall receive a like from Me(Toby) or Jack
and a PM welcoming you to Team Astro

It doesn't happen often but there is a message that you might receive in PMs
saying that your application is Pending until further notice, probably because
you didn't give snapshots, or just didn't fill out one of the required questions
that the app format gives you.

These are some signs for future reference,
Accepted: You've been accepted into a trial
program to get you started off in the team.

Pending: You've either not filled something out or
we are thinking about denying or accepting you.

Denied: You've been denied, you are able to re-apply within
10 days, so a week and a half. If you get this message you are either not
fit for the team, or you don't seem to cut the requirements for the team.

Age: 13 and 6 months young.

What level of building to you see yourself as?(From 1 - 100) I used to follow tutorials and that made me a better builder and then I started to freely build without the tutorial to help me to try and copy and if I failed I would do the build again without the tutorial, today my builds can look good and people can say if it looks good depending on their style of building. I would rate myself a 60/100, rating myself too high would seem like I'm lying and that I'm not really good at building, too low is practically for people who can't build at all so I decided to be honest and put an honest number down. 60/100.

What style of building do you specialize in?(Which kind are you best at) I specialize in modern house builds, I am pretty familiar on how to make a modern house and the interiors inside, sometimes I like to experiment with big builds and builds that are out of my skill level and sometimes I succeed in finishing. I am good at design, I can correctly fit a design for a floor, roof, outside or even on the walls, if I made a house with nothing in it and it was just a blank empty house and it was a 2/10 I could easily make the house from the inside at least an 8/10 if you also agree with how the design was laid out.

Why do you want to join our team? I've also always wanted to join a building team, its a known fact that I can't get into the IJAH team here but I can try for smaller building teams, The team format and logo is set out nicely, the current members in Astro if there is any at the time I bet would all be amazing builders and they could teach me a bit more on how to build if they think that I am not doing a good job. Building teams are literally the best, EVERYONE can build so amazingly, the last building team I was in we made an attempt on trying to make the Sistine Chapel and I was the designer for the layout, how big the dome is going to be and I had to make the painting that Michelangelo used out of wool. We finished the build and it took around 2-3 days, I was commended 5 star points (The system worked on star points, the highest star point was 15 star points.) and all my acquaintances were given around 9 or 13 star points. They said we all did so well and we got a promotion, if you guys are interested in any big builds I can help with the design because that is my specialty, I missed it when I didn't get commended or given star points (And I'm not saying you should add star points.) I just want to go back into the building team and get that kind of pleasure back.

Monday - Thursday, 3:30 PM - 8:30 PM. It's probably around 4:30 I get home I only get home at 3:30 if I ride my bike. I also have homework to do so its going to come around 5:30 I get on.

Friday, 3:30 PM - 10:30 PM. I will take breaks, 30 minutes to 15 minutes.
Saturday, 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM. I will take breaks through out the day.

you were left in charge and not them, what would you do/say? If the two owners left for the week and I was left in change I would try to calm everyone down and say that maybe next time one of them would be put in charge (But it's not my choice to put them in change its the owners choices about that.) if they were to behave until the owners came back, you also did say I was the second highest to the group and that means that there is obviously someone who is in a higher group than me other than owner so they could also be in charge so they could also take care of the situation. If I were put in charge for the week I would try to entertain the other members by introducing a new build to do like a massive Church or a Huge Temple. If none of these options worked I would ask them for what they want to do other than be in control.

What makes you stand out from anyone/ everyone else who applied for the team? I believe that I am the first member to post onto this thread, I stand out from everyone for being unique, I stand out from everyone for being a different builder, nobody can mimic my style of building. I make modern houses and there might be other members who also build modern houses but the chance of it is very low, most builders build houses that are massive and they can be made to look old and some look futuristic, I make modern houses with my design and they are my designs, nobody knows what my designs are going to look like unless they copy the finished product.

Are you open to someone recommending changes to your build? Yes. I wouldn't mind criticism and I would appreciate tips on how to make it better.

3) My rating on building I feel should not be rated due to being good at some things and being bad at such others, though ocer all I believe I'd be a 90, maybe.
4) I've been told I'm really good at Fantasy and now that I look into that, I believe so too. Maybe realistic?? But, more of the creative "other world" kinda vibe.
5) Jackie said I appeared to be a really good builder, I also really love trying new things so this just happened to peak my interest!
6) I'm on the West Coast (Cali) and I'm normally on after 3pm on week days and rarely on weekends.
7) I'd probably try to mellow them out and speak with all of them individually to calm them all down because they may all have different reasons and I wouldn't wish to upset anyone.
8) Probably that I know one of the owners personally who is a stellar builder! He recommended that I sign up for a build team, and I feel that I should be added because he explained how you guys are trying to get out of just building as well, I draw and I pixelise skins a lot of the time!! (If you go on name MC and search my user, I made all my own skins.)
9) Of course people can edit my builds! I have no problem with that.
10) Forums doesn't work on my computer, though Jackie can confirm all of my builds are my own.

If I was in charge of them i would say Let's talk about this when the owners come back :) But if they keep it up i will warn them :)


What makes you stand out from anyone/ everyone else who applied for the team?: I think i'm really good at decorating but i would love to be better at building some houses, I've just been good at decorating and i love doing it and don't ever mind it :)

Yes i love people helping me And giving me tips. They help me so much and i would love to have someone give me tips and advice Cause I love to get better and better.

What style of building do you specialize in?(Which kind are you best at) Creative builds and fantasy. I am also good at making animals If ever needed.

Why do you want to join our team? I thought It will be fun to build with some people. I do building for fun when I'm free and It would be a pleasant adventure.

What is your schedule and Timezone? I am mostly always free and my timezone is Greenwich Mean Time Zone.

you were left in charge and not them, what would you do/say? I would tell them that they should not complain but do work that they have been asked to do. And If they really want to complain then they can ask the owners themselves why.

What makes you stand out from anyone/ everyone else who applied for the team? I am open to making anything. I am fantastic at decorating the interior of houses. I am up to any challenges and If needed I can learn quickly.

I'm not good at rating and judging my own builds, but I'd say it's at least 60, perhaps more.

What style of building do you specialize in?(Which kind are you best at)
I am very interested in modern architecture, but I can build other styles as well.

Why do you want to join our team?
I've always wanted to be in a building team, and I feel like this would be a nice experience for me. I've always built on my own, so doing it with other people will surely make it more interesting !

What is your schedule and Timezone?
I live on the west coast of North America (EST). I am online after school on the weekdays at around 4 - 5 pm. On the other hand, I'm available almost all the time from 12 pm to 12 or 1 am on the weekend if I don't have something scheduled.

As a team, we should all contribute in building and managing in some way. The decisions shouldn't all be left to me, but instead shared between everyone or at least a group of people. I think it's more fair this way, but that's just my opinion. If you disagree with me, that's fine. I will follow the rules if that means I can stay on the team. If someone breaks a rule though, I will obviously punish them, depending on what they did.

What makes you stand out from anyone/ everyone else who applied for the team?
Unlike some people, I am very interested in architecture like I previously stated. I might even use that passion for a future career! I have a good eye for details and faults and I can easily see mistakes in a build and fix them. I've also never had someone teach me how to build and what to do. Everything I do is from self taught experience and watching other people build and taking notes from it. I am also very imaginative and creative.

Are you open to someone recommending changes to your build?
I will take any constructive criticism whether it's good or bad! I'm always ready for change and improving and I don't even mind getting insulted for what I'm doing if it gets to that point. I will also judge and criticize other members' builds if I see something wrong in them.
