While eating crayfish pie and watching documentary's on drug addicts, yes I am very interesting I know, it reminded me of actually the scariest experience I've ever had. Story time!

So three years ago back in July of 2014, I was working at a McDonald's you know your typical first job as a teen in highschool trying to make a quick buck. The day was slow, a couple people coming in orders here and there, the token, "Welcome to McDonald's how may I serve you today?" you know the usual things you'd expect. While I was cleaning a couple trays I noticed a group of young girls walk in, well not really young but around my age at the time(16) so definitely minors and they were cute so you know naturally being a male I had my eyes on them from time to time (Creepy now that I think about it but the day was slow give me a break xD) They were not from where I lived either as they were all sporting a uniform of another areas team. About 10 minutes had passed and I had noticed a much older man approach them and start talking to them, at first I thought it may have been a parent, but after a while it seemed just a bit, strange. Following my first instinct I decided to examine a bit closer, of course without making it completely obvious. I grabbed a water glass and told one of my employees that I was going to get a quick drink of water. Luckily those girls sat right next to the drink dispenser and I overheard the man asking rather inappropriate questions. Being the way I am, I couldn't stand for it, and being that I was the manager on the floor for the day I approached them and immediately, IMMEDIATELY the harsh smell of alcohol filled the air. I asked if everything was okay and quickly the man looked at me and said, "Everything is fine don't worry I'm just here talking to my friends" I looked at the girls and they were shaking their heads to me as if to notion that they don't even know this man. Being that he just reeked of alcohol I decided to put my foot down and say, "Sir I'm going to have to ask you first to leave these girls alone as they don't seem to know you, and also because we have a strict policy on alcohol and frankly I don't feel safe with you in my store" He turned to me and my heart began to tremble but I stood my ground. He looked me dead in the eyes and said, "Don't you ever talk to me like that boy, I can kill you in a second if I wanted to, fuck off you little bitch" I knew how drunk people were, so I thought nothing of it really, I repeated, "Sir, I'm going to have o ask you to leave" Feeling slightly endangered I handed my phone to one of the girls as the man just stared into my eyes, on my phone was written on my notepad, "Call 911" the girl that picked up my phone nodded and just as she started to call the man grabbed me by the collar and threatened me one more time that he was going to kill me, but as if there was a sudden force that stopped him from simply pummeling me he let go and walked out of the store cursing and giving me an awful look. Pretty much scarred I thanked the girls for taking action and calling the police, and they simply said, "No, thank you" I was able to get all of their numbers and even to this day a couple of them still talk to me from time to time, but see that isn't the scariest thing. When I was finally off work I had heard that a man was arrested about a mile and a half away from the McDonalds, in this small town there was only one, and it was the same man that was in the store earlier that day. He was arrested for possession of a concealed weapon, and later on he was identified as a known pedophile and sex offender. That day could have easily been my last, but I'm glad I took action because who knows what might have happened if I didn't.

    well I've got two stories:

once, I was on the tube and it was after a terrorist attack in my city and basically this man walked onto the tube, he looked really nervous, he was sweating and I thought none of it at first but then the train stopped and the man got off but he was basically running off and of course, he left his bag. Worst thing was, I was directly opposite it and I got really scared since the bag looked big and heavy so yeah. I walked (quite fast) to the other end of the tube and I called the police. The bomb didn't detonate. It malfunctioned.

secondly, there was a lockdown at my school because there was an armed man (who was mentally ill) that was shouting in the streets nearby, we all huddled together in class for what seemed like hours and hours, we heard gunshots but no one was harmed, thankfully.

both of these were much more scary than i'm portraying them but yeah, that's life

In 9th (last) year of primary school, I was part of a project, called Erasmus+. We had to stay in another country for a week, and then, it was Spain.

The problem came, when I realised that we would have to go there, by plane. And I (did) have a fear of flying on a plane.*
    * The reason I put "(did) have" was because I'm honestly not sure myself, if I still have a fear of going on a plane. I know, strange.

But I did it, I survived. Unfortunately. :P

I don't wanna judge, but explain to me how that happened?

Anyways, not the scariest experience, but yesterday, I was on this ride:

Midway through its rotation, the power cut out. I was stranded almost upside down for 20 minutes. It was scary for the first 5 mins, thought the safety barrier was going to malfunction and make me fall 20 feet or so to the ground. Luckily after that time we got down, and everything was fine with the ride, so we got free passes on every ride for the rest of the time we're there.

I went down this cool slide, and I asked my father to go down first and catch me in case I die or something.
My sister went down with him and she lost her goggles, and I went down the slide and my father and sister were looking for the goggles.
I splashed in the pool, in the corner, drowning.
No one even saw me or helped me, so my sister saw me and alerted my father as soon as possible.
I literally had like 10 seconds before death.

    This happened twice.

    Human error in my opinion.
Never visited the waterpark at AT, but the lifeguards should've 100% been onto that. Not to mention, if you can't swim, why are you going on slides that have water way below your depth?

Towers literally have the best record of safety out of every theme park in the UK, so yet again, like The Smiler incident (Best rollercoaster I've been on.), it was down to Human error.

I can swim depths, but it didn't tell me what depth it was, I just wanted my father to catch me in case.
+ I was forced to go on the slide because of a family chosen thing.
    So yeah. ;/

Regardless of the situation, if you're not comfortable with something, don't do it.

Anyway, I'm gonna end my argument here, to keep it on topic.
