Resignation

Hey everyone, I hate to be another one of these threads but it is what it is.​

I didn't picture myself resigning for quite some time, but I've come to the conclusion that my life comes first before anything over the internet. Here are the main reasons why:​

1.) School
Now looking through a preview of what this year is going to be like, it's going to take quite some effort to get to where I want to be academically, and I can't do that while being a staff member. My activity will most definitely decrease and I rather resign than be an inactive staff member. I'd also like to focus all my attention on school rather than play Minecraft, and I apologize if that sounds rude.

2.) Health
I've had a few health issues as of recently and will need so much more sleep than I do now because of them, meaning I need 10-14 hours of sleep a night to function completely (which I haven't for weeks).

3.) Becoming Bored
The game itself has been becoming boring for me, that's pretty self explanatory. I've played it for 2-4 years now and I'm almost sure it's time for me to move on from it.

4.) Life In General
I'd like to also focus on reaching and connecting to more people socially, and I want to do more. It's hard going back and forth between online & IRL, therefore I'd like to spend more time working on myself. I'm also looking at a pretty decent job which should be great.

I've also become less patient dealing with the toxicity on the server itself, but that's alright, as any server you'll come across will have some sort of 'toxicity' within it.

I was promoted April 30th, and I'm quite thankful I was because I wouldn't have gotten to fully realize how much the staff team does for the server and how welcoming the team is. If you wish to apply, go for it. It's fun and overall a great experience.

@OlleSwedish : I'm proud of you for being where you are today in the team :^) thanks for putting up with me and also helping me a lot, it's great to have had you in my promotion wave.

@Witha : I'm so sorry for the first call we had i was tired ok, but I'm happy to have gotten to know you. Keep up the good work with the team, we better not lose contact

@Smg : Man I remember last summer when you were promoted and how happy I was to have known someone like you joined the team. You've been pretty consistent with your work and I could always depend on you for things, thank you.

@Haruld @Lone : You two are like the grandmothers I never had, lmao thank you for being there when I needed help with things. I'm glad to have known you both before you were promoted, you guys have been pretty amazing with your work :)

@Expedect : Be smart (you know what I mean), don't listen or put up with anyone's bullshit. Keep in touch with me

From what I did see of you on the server, you looked like you were doing a great job.
You always worked hard from my perspective and were kind to the community.

This decision broke my heart, and I hope you’ll still be there for me, as I am for you.

Thank you for being such a great staff member, honestly one of my favorites because we related so much.

2 days before you resigned, you talked me out of it, and now that you left, I am left shocked and confused. You were amazing and I am sure that all staff members agree.

Of course, I’m not here to make a quick “o7 good luck” reply, since you do too much to deserve that.

I’m currently in Denver, so I’ll talk to you when I get back to Spain.

Thanks, seriously for all you've done, I keep hearing you were up late nights because no staff was online, that's a big step. Like hell, I'm not up late anymore to staff only during the morning but you moved into the time where it was needed, before us EU and AU people could get online, you were an amazing staff member and I wish the best in the future of your life.

Thank for everything. I really feel like I should get to know the great names of the server (Pretty much most staff, resigned or not) but I never really had the chance to meet them. Either way, whenever one of them resigns OR when someone quits the server, I know that they have done great things and should be recognized for it. Thanks, - Ruler
