My Resignation

I never thought I would be writing another resignation thread so soon. Well, here it is.

I was given another chance in April of 2017, and I vowed to be as active as when I first became helper in October, 2016. I failed to do so. I’ve been so overwhelmed with work over summer, and now I’m in my final year of High School. I need to focus on school, I have done poorly the last year and I can’t do that again.

It was an honor to be considered staff once again, and I am thankful that I was re-promoted. To the Admins and Owners; I appreciate the opportunity to be a staff member, and I’m sorry that I, once again, have resigned within 6 months of being promoted. I wish it could have lasted longer.

To the Staff team; I wholeheartedly thank you guys for working beside me and becoming wonderful friends of mine. You’re all doing a wonderful job, despite the fact that others may disagree, I think you should know this. I’ve never had enjoyment doing voluntary work until I had the opportunity to work along the sides of all of you. Every Helper, Mod, Mod+, etc I met has been nothing but helpful, friendly, and cooperative. I’m going to list some specific staff members who I want to state a personal “thank you” to, if you’re not on this list, just know, you mean to me as much as they do.

@Krewlex - You’ve been a wonderful friend since I became staff last year, and I couldn’t thank you enough for being so positive and respective of me. You’ve supported me all the way through, which is by far the best thing you’ve done for me.

@Auxilium - Even though we never spoke outside of staffing, I still think you should be personally thanked. You’ve taught me everything I knew about being a staff member, and I enjoyed working under your wing. You’re always doing an amazing job, and you should know I respect you for what you do for the team and those you guide.

@StarlightFox - You’re hands down one of the best staff members I can talk to, you’ve got the best sense of humor and we can relate to a lot of things. I enjoyed working with you and having fun as we spent time along the way. I couldn’t figure out what to say other than that, so thanks.

To the community; I know it isn’t the best of news when a staff member resigns, but, please no “o7” on my wall and on this thread. I enjoyed doing what I can to make the server as good as I can. I appreciated the support as I was part of the staff team, and I will appreciate the support as I bring this resignation to an end.

This was a smart decision.

I am very glad that you're realizing this now and taking the opportunity to fix up school and actually get somewhere.

Don't get distracted, Bubs. You're going to be just fine, we, as a community and a staff team will miss you.

Although I wasn't in contact with you enough while you were staff I will try to be more now when I can.
I wish you luck with whatever that you need to do in the future and I will try to be in contact with you more in the future.
