A dumb problem again...

    I have so many issues IRL that aren't worth making a forum about. I just need to get some help that might not be on goggle. My problem is my hands are dry, but even though I've washed them with soap so many times at once, they still feel dirty. I recently had to clean off some shit from a toilet bowl at my house. I still wash my hands, trying to get the dirt off even though its definitely clean. I don't have OCD, either so I'm really confused. Its another dumb post and I'm sorry about that, I just have to get it out there because no one believes me.

    If your hands are dry, washing them with soap will only make it worse. You need to put some cream on there

    Soap actually strips the oils from your skin making it much drier. Also, washing your hands too often actually makes them more dirty because you're also removing "healthy" bacteria. Stop using soap so often and put some lotion on those puppies

    Get urself some good lotion. Cause there are some lotions that leave your hands feeling gross and sticky and dirtier than before. Try em out before buying them.

    I'd recommend some Eucerin cream or something. My mom told me (when I had dry hands) to put it on my hands before I go to bed. Just do NOT use soap!

    stop wasting all the soap in the house, get some hand lotion and use that instead. you're just paranoid about getting sick lol. if you've washed your hands thoroughly with water and some kind of cleaning product, you're fine
