Makeup suggestions?????

HI hello

okay so it's my prom in like a week and I'm freaking out bc i haven't booked makeu
If anyone could help me out that would be great
Feel free to drop suggestions on literally any type of makeup and I'll take a look at it !!!

Okay, well first of all before I say anything, what kind of budget do you have to spend on makeup? Like high end or low end. Don't feel like you have to spend lots of money to get high quality makeup, there are plenty of drugstore items which are excellent.

And are you looking to buy a new set, or just some new items? If you already have something that looks good and wears well I'd recommend that.

 

I normally go for drug store products , but I do have some high end products but I need some cheaper alternatives for some high end stuff that are actually high quality too
And I just wanted some new items like concealer , lashes and eyeshadow palletes x

wet n wild has some dAMN GOOD EYELINER and they also have this 6 dollar foundation that i heard is pretty good so thats a coolo idea (-;
loreal has some cute little eyeshadow palettes i think tehy;re like loreal trunaked and roses is a really pretty one so thats cool too (-:
and basically almost everything elf makes is bOMGB i love it

Great, there's plenty of drugstore dupes for high-end products.

For foundation and concealer, you need to be careful of flashback. For an event where you might be taking lot's of pictures, you want to make sure your foundation isn't going ruin the photo. One of my favorite products is Wet n Wild photofocus foundation. It wears beautifully and is made specifically to look good in flash photography. It's about medium coverage but, it looks like you have good skin so that shouldn't really be a problem. I also believe it's only about $5.99 if you wanted to try it.

As for concealer, my favorite is Tarte shape tape but, it's like $30 or so. An easy and cheaper dupe for this is Maybelline age rewind and is only around $8 depending on where you buy it.

I don't typically wear false lashes too often so I don't have a solid suggestion for that. However, you can probably find a good pair at the drugstore. I'd just make sure to look at the quality of them and to make sure the band is nice. Maybe try Vegas Nay Glamour Lashes or Ardell Demi Wispies.

For an eyeshadow palette, I like to use nudes. The Milani Must Have Naturals palette is a great pallete and is only about $11. I'd compare it to the Tarte clay play palette which is about $50.

Also, I don't know if you normally use a setting spray but I highly recommend one. I like Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray.*

Just a tip, if you weren't already, make sure to try your makeup beforehand. When using new products you want to be careful in case something doesn't work for you and to practice in advance so your makeup isn't melting off at prom.
