Stop making "STOP MAKING STUPID POSTS" posts

Lots of people make useless posts on the forums. But instead of saying "What was the point of this?' or "that was unnecessary", people always respond with this gif:



It was funny the first time, but now it's just as overused as crap.

It's especially rude to do this to new members, giving them a bad first impression of the forum. Now everyone's doing it instead of giving a helpful reply.

So, please stop using STOP MAKING STUPID POSTS. Instead, just give a text reply to them. It's nicer to new members.

Yep, I totally agree....
In my opinion, the first time I saw it, I didn't think it was funny... But that is just my opinion.
It gets abused also by some users because all they do is go to a thread that they don't like or think is stupid, and post it on multiple threads.. Almost like they're spamming it.

Oh, and like you said, it makes people feel not welcome... For example:

This post is a great example of why people have been leaving. So many spammers and flamers making threads go completely off-topic. Heck, if the forums today were like the forums in its old days, this thread wouldn't exist.

 

If u guys stop bitching and whining then we would have no problem u jackasses who made this thread and for all u jackasses that whine and bitch. Plus I made a thread called Words with Friends Challenge and u chickens wont even take me on so all u just shut up because all I see is a dick with no balls
