IGN: Osirics Minigame: Parkour Description of Map: Welcome To PacMan! Based off the idea of the old Atari Game PacMan, this map has been best suited toward the newer version of Minecraft. This map contains four elevations each having difficult jumps pushing players to the limit. I had built this solo on Single Player, and accumulated, it took me about a month to complete. I hope you all enjoy this map as much as I enjoyed building it! Screenshots: Credit To: Osirics (Main Builder) <Built This Map Solo>
This looks good, but I'd suggest putting more steps in the centre as your steps appear to be on the outer rims and you have lots of space in the centre to work with. Good work!
Medium to Hard however there are about 5-7 quad jumps therefore it might be more fitted toward Hard. Other than the center pieces, is there any other design flaws that you can notice? I want to make this map perfect for the requisites that most Parkour maps require on the server. Ok, I have incorporated your feedback! Tell me if this looks good?
Please do not triple post, if you'd like to post more at the same time please use the edit button otherwise, kinda nice build.
You are focusing way too much on the design on the walls. This is not always a bad thing, but in this case, it stands on the bad side. The actual parkour jumps just seem way too boring and there is nothing fun to it. Try adding more to the jumps and make them somewhat similar to the walls. Aside from that, There isn't enough parkour: looking at the map, it's not bad, but I notice parkour in like 1/10 of the box you created. You should try making that less of an issue, without overdoing the time it takes to complete. Looks like you spend way more time on the walls than the actual parkour. This is also on the bad side. This goes off of all the points I made earlier. Think of it like this: Players play parkour for the parkour, not so much the wall designs (which are, by the way, pretty good). The parkour should be the main focal point. In all honesty, it looks like you made a box with "Pac-Man" on it, and said, "Hmm, I can make this a map!" Not saying this is what you did, but it's my thinking. Anyway's, other than what I suggested, not a bad map. Consider what I said for a great chance! :D
Is it possible if I send you the build. I have added a lot of your feedback, and I think it should satisfy the requirements. Let me know if this is a viable option. Thank you so much for the great feedback <3!
