i'm going to say it: feminism of this generation is fucking stupid. ...well not feminism entirely, mostly feminazis that believe that every white, cis male is a rapist or bullshit like that. especially since most of these feminazis have no idea what the fuck they are talking about. they say bullshit like "oh these men only care about getting in my pants or my boob size!!!" now, for some men, this may be the case, but the vast vast majority don't think that way. another thing that feminazis (or most feminists in general) say is that men and women have vast wage differences. now, i will not say that this isn't true. usually, women are paid less than men. however, women and men tend to have different jobs. women tend to have jobs that require little physical labor (accountants, teachers, etc), while men tend to have jobs that require more physical labor (doctors, construction, etc), according to the us department of labor. these jobs that require physical labor usually pay a bit more than jobs that don't. so this argument isn't that effective either. in my opinion, women have pretty equal rights as men these days. women are able to vote, can have the same jobs as men, and hell, we might have a woman elected president here in a few months (a stupid woman, but a woman nonetheless). now, that is just a rant on feminism. in my opinion, tumblr (for what it's meant to be) is pretty ok. you get to find a bunch of supportive groups/blogs to follow. other than the stereotypical "all white cis male republicans are rapists, homophobes, and racists" people, tumblr is a pretty fucking good place to be. jesus christ what was i on writing this post replace every time i say feminism with misandry pls i was being really stupid lmao
I love tumblr, it's a great place to voice your feelings, find a supportive group/fandom, post things that you enjoy, and discuss things. There's a bad side (anon hate, uh porn blogs, etc) but yea it's mostly good. I've had a great experience. There's ways to surround yourself with good blogs and people. Y'all complain too much about a blog site. But maybe that's just me. yikes
