There's no stopping it, the game's fanbase are full of 7 year olds. Hell, how did they even get Steam, a Mic, or even convince their parents to buy a game that will give them nightmares. Kids are spoiled these days. I played Hello Kitty the Game when i was 4 lmao. The only rated M game I played when I was young was Halo and I didn't even go online. I skipped every cutscene in the game, and fucked around in sandbox with my sister and a friend of mine whom I still talk to. I only played for 2 hours, not the whole fucking day. And I wasn't even monitored too! I will be interested what will happen to these kids when they become older.
I know right? I am definetly gonna throw a party when fnaf is over. I literally saw a video of a 7 year old fan boying that fnaf 3 was coming..
I'm a fan of fnaf, and i'm 13 Just because we have an opinion on a game doesn't mean we're '7 year olds', that's like saying everyone who plays 'tf2' is a 7 year old just because it's Popular, Yes, the game is overrated, but just because someone likes the game doesn't mean we're automatically little kids. A lot of teens/young adults play fnaf too, and are a part of the fanbase. The only difference between fnaf and other games is: It got popular because it had an original gameplay mechanic, until all the clones appeared, and people think the fanbase is little kids because they see the game as overrated and dumb and 'there's too much of it everywhere'.
I know I said "full of 7 year olds", but I'm implying the fanbase is mostly made up of young people. I don't think the game is dumb, the concept was a great and original ides. I too watch people play FNAF, it's just the fanbase is shitty.
If you hate or love the game then fine, but don't judge the people who hate it or love it. I'm really excited for the game but others don't care and thats fine. Just don't judge them, and they are not "7 years old" they just enjoy the game.
I don't mind if they enjoy the game, it's just they overhype it at the point where it is past annoying, which then causes most people to hate the game itself rather than the community.
I'll admit, I was kinda hoping that FNAF would end. But this looks really awesome and I'm atually excited for this!
I was about to go here and post, as I do on all FNAF threads, "The only thing worse than people who constantly hype the game is the group of people that constantly shit on the people who hype the game." Luckily, this thread seems pretty devoid of that, so I'm pretty glad. Anyway, I'm still not thrilled with the series (scary + me = no), but this looks like it could be pretty good. Only problem is that it looks like it'll be a free roam game, which takes a lot away from the main point of the series in the past - waiting helplessly for your death to arrive. That being said, I won't deny that I'm interested in how it'll turn out, though I certainly won't be getting it.
All those Halo memories from the childhood. I remember when there were good games coming out, instead of washed out crap like FNAF that caters to the need of whiny 7 year olds. I feel that the game industry is going to be ruined, just like what's happening to the movie industry and what happened to the music industry.
