I'll give you a TBH if you ask me an interesting question. If I don't know you, don't expect a detailed TBH. Go.
What is one thing that you think people from other countries should know about your country? Or what is your favorite food native to your country?
Yoo Ben. I think you're a pretty chill and down to earth guy. I like people who know where they're heading to, and that's something I see in you. It's very important to set yourself a target and work towards achieving it, and I think you've got that skill. As a staff member? To be honest, I've got no idea. I don't recall ever seeing you work, but I'm pretty convinced it's because I wasn't active on the server in the time you were active and because of the time differences between us. I'm sure you're doing a great job though. Can't wait to see your movie dude :) And 5 year plan? Well, if everything goes according to plan, I'm still going to be in the IDF. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to say anything else about my job in there or what rank my course directs me to, but I can promise you it's pretty fucking cool. Other than that, hoping to marry my girlfriend, maybe live in an apartment together, and y'know, get started with the real life! Love the fact that you didn't really announcing your previous identity and a lot of people were confused about it. Not gonna lie, I was super mad at you a few years ago when the whole Fawn situation happened, especially when my face was leaked (if you still remember). It's totally cool though, the past is the past and I can tell you changed a lot. Other than you being a memelord, I don't know you that well as a person. You were outshined by Fawn's bold personality and it kinda hid who you really were back in the days. u pretty cool dawg. And honestly I have no idea but that counts as an interesting question so I'll take that. You're a funny guy Davey. Or at least that's what I got from the group calls we were in together. Honestly though, we never had any interesting conversations where I could really pick up on who you are as a person, only kinda chill non serious topics, so... I'm sorry I don't have much to say :P And my day was great, I went to sleep at 5 in the morning after me and 6 other friends watched Black Mirror: Bandersnatch together (the choices were cycled between the watchers and each time somebody made a choice they had to take a shot of vodka). Everyone was drunk in the end of the film and it was hilarious. Heyy I really appreciate that you're asking genuine questions without wanting a TBH haha. What others should know? Well, even though the news make it look that way, Israel isn't a warzone. We live very peaceful lives and it's totally safe to come visit here. Also, since the conflict with the different Palestinian zones is one of the main topics when it comes to conversation about Israel, I think people need to understand that it's a very complicated topic, and that almost all the content about it is biased for one side or another. Both Israel and Palestine are very good at manipulating people who don't know much about the topic, and public support from different nations and peoples is a big deal. Food - since the country is fairly young, almost all of our food originates from Europe, the Arabian peninsula or north Africa. That results in us being very diverse in food and restaurants. I love the Arab food, they have great salads, hummus, meat... all that kinda stuff. Makes me feel at home haha. Tbh, your taste in music is a 10 and you're cool. We both share the feeling of growing up here in the J&H community and literally not being able to stop visiting the forums. I think that term is super cringy, but it's fun to have some actual "OG's" (and not just kids who joined in 2015 and think that makes them OG's). Also lowkey you're pretty hot gurl but I said nothinggggg Top thing on my bucket list would be to get into my army course in finish it without dropping out. It's gonna be the most mentally and physically challenging thing I've ever been in, but I'm sure nothing can stop me ;)
I don't know you well enough to give my opinions on you. I remember stumbling upon you a few times on the server but that's about it. Sorry man. And my favorite memory is getting staff. I was 13 or 14 year old back then and it was a huge deal for me and a huge deal for anyone to get it.
No worries man :P I remember seeing you as a Helper! It’s crazy to think how fast time went by. Personally, when I was accepted, I was beyond happy. Being able to give back to a community which you have spent so many years on is a fantastic feeling.
You're a parkour monster and you know how to write. That's pretty much it. Nah, I'm joking. Even though I don't know much more about you, I loved the way you shared your thoughts and feelings and your various threads - you did it in a truly interesting way that really put out the honesty in your words. I'd love to get more of these threads from you and maybe get to know you more personally in the future :) And Neil? He's smart, he insults religion in an indirect way just the right amount (would be fun if it was a little more ngl), his theories are interesting... But the best thing about him is just how he speaks. Most scientist or people who work in those fields are boring as fuck (saying that from experience, having to grow around these people and try learning from many of them). Neil is just so damn interesting you could sit there and listen to what he has to say for hours. --- Post merged --- You're a parkour monster and you know how to write. That's pretty much it. TBH What is it like living (relatively) close to the various conflicts in the Middle East, do you feel just as disconnected as someone from another region might? Or is it more important due to your proximity?
Tbh Elida I like you a lot. When we started talking a few months ago you were all shy and quiet and I think I quickly got you out of that when you realized what kind of a person I am. Conversations with you always go very smoothly, you always have a lot to share and always listen to what I have to say. I'm gonna miss that when I'll go. Just being honest though, you're a little needy sometimes, but it's not too bad! Luv u vm egf :) Favorite memory from Africa would either be visiting a Maasai tribe or seeing a leopard. The Maasai people were like the most unique humans I've ever seen, from their houses, the way they dress, everything about their system is just weird. And the leopard was just majestic so yeah haha. You were super dedicated to being staff and that shows you're probably going to be dedicated to other things in your life just as much. Working hard and giving a shit about what you do is gonna get you far, I'm sure. Other than that, you're a sweet kid dude. Not much else I can say, I just really enjoyed being in calls with you can in the days xD I remember many good memories from my time as staff, but I think the most fun things were the staff meetings. Dao used to be super serious about everything and implemented weird "operations" to handle weird things. For example, he recruited literally the entire staff team and literally the entire server to go around creative and find dicks to remove. It was the most ridiculous and unnecessary thing ever and he still managed to make everyone take it seriously. Fucking madlad. Anyway, every time after he left the meeting calls when they were finished, I remember Jessie and Caity making fun of him which was hilarious, and Willy used to change his plans to make more sense to everyone... Idk I just really enjoyed the calls right after Dao left them pahaha (no offense to Dao ofc, he was just trying to do his job). Tbh, you seem very talented as a programmer, especially since you've been doing it from such a young age. I'm sure that'll get you very far in life. You've got a big head start, let's just say that. I don't know how you're doing as a staff member, never really saw you on so I'm not gonna comment on that lel. Other than that, you're a nice guy and I'd love to get to know you more :) About the conflicts... Israel is a bubble. We're a strong, organized country in the middle of the complete opposite of that. Right now, everything feels very disconnected. Life is peaceful and other than the Palestinians (which I live relatively far away from), nobody is really messing with us. They have their own problems. We just live our lives peacefully and don't really think about it. It wasn't always like that though. I can't say much because I'm young, but I lived through the Second Lebanon War, and that was pretty terrifying. Lebanon attacked the area I live in, so my family and I had to escape to another part of the country to be safe. I also experienced Operation Protective Edge, but that was far away from where I live. I can say explain more about how living in a war is if you want but I don't want to write too much haha.
