Legacy games removed

People actually played sumo, spleef and survival games on the other hand you’re right

why is there not enough resources to begin with? if theres enough for new minigames like prisonmmo and skywars then there should be enough for the oldies. when this server was even active those games were popular. now its dead as fuck and thats why they apparently had to remove the games

 

I just thought of something idk if this could work but the Hive server has a hub where they implement multiple little rooms for their mini-games, too many to list off but there's a lot there. There aren't that many here but why not do something like that. Video for example:

I can see this working perfectly with the spawn that was just removed, the one with all of the portals for each game. Signs to enter those games could replace the area those portals are in. No need for the multiple game options unlike Hive who actually needs them, a single sign to enter a game of sumo for example would work just like hot it was in the sumo spawn/server. Open world games would just have their portal as normal (survival, factions, skyblock, Creative, etc).

Don't know how this would work, but looking at this from a birds eye view, it's eliminating the need for all these spawns for these games when not many people are going to see them/do see them every day. They're all very beautiful though, loved that sumo one.


Another tidbit that I just thought through, the community is shrinking/has shrunk over time and it would be a bit nice to have one main server that populates much more people instead of spreading it out like it once was.

These game locations could also be able to be accessed from the compass like they have been already, when clicked you would be teleported to the location of the join sign for the specific game you want to play. However, I don't think this would be very necessary with the smaller spawn but it definitely would not hurt.

@ItsHarry Is there any way I could get a screenshot of the Sumo leaderboard or is it gone for good? I was working on getting on both the spleef and sumo lbs and made it on the sumo but assumed I could get a screenshot of my furthest point when it was inevitably moved to the legacy section. Idk if this would be difficult but it would mean a lot if it's possible in any way.

Spleef was such a large community. I have more friends outside my country because of this minigame. It really shouldnt have become such a dead place..
