You mean "starving"? In a sense, that something is dying out or not getting enough attention like it used to?

I really think you should check AntVenom's opinion on this matter, "Is Minecraft... still dying?!", because he has many great points on how it isn't dying at all.
And just the YouTube gaming community of Minecraft may seem to make you generalize one YouTuber that stopped uploading Minecraft content into a whole Minecraft community that died. People still upload videos about Minecraft, and people still play it. Jerry and Harry, themselves even do so.

On the other hand, the community of this server may have made you generalize it more, since less people are coming on the server and the server is not like it used to be. People change, people grow up and focus on far greater things other than computer games. They get a job, studying (either in school or university which occupies them), they have had their own bubble burst so they can tap into the real world and focus on it more. So when they will grow up, they'd know they wouldn't have done nothing. That they've achieved something instead of doing nothing playing a Block game. I'm not saying It's a bad thing to play games or that you shouldn't play because of this and that. Sure, play them at your own free time and will. But consider doing better things for yourself, for your own future.

Some people make content and earn money for uploading about Minecraft, and some people that aren't doing that aren't earning any good from it.

NonMala, it's dying in a sense that ever since 2016 players have been leaving and their aren't more players joining to even out the people that are quitting and leaving Minecraft. Therefore in my opinion Minecraft is dying. A game dies when no one plays it anymore and yes people still play Minecraft thats why its not dead but everyday it's losing a lot of players therefore it's dying.

Since I'm one of the few people who've seen this happen to games over decades, let me see if I can explain it to you. This happens to all games. Especially when there is new console or PC games coming out. Their popularity pulls player bases to those new games. When there is a lot of new content released back to back to back then the games that people previously played see less activity. Fortnite and all the new games are why this is happening. Not really rocket science.

I think we should be grateful that it lasted this long.
